Title: Need Homelite Sprockets:
Post by: Lewis Brander on September 09, 2004, 09:19:03 AM
Hello to all. I'm in a bit of a pickle. I have 3 Homelite saws, models, 600 D, C-5 and C-51. Thay all take the same sprockets and would like to replace them with either the standard spur or rim systems. Here are the measurements of what I'm looking for. Drum ID  3.10", shaft size 9/16" or .563", .404 pitch, 7 toooth sprocket. If I had to I could go with the 3/8 pitch, but would have to go with .063 gauge chain tp fit the bars, which is not very popular in this area. I would appreciate any help, comments or suggestions from this site. The saws are restored and painted and would like to get them so that I can demonstrate them. Thanks. Lewis.

Hello to all. I ordered the sprockets and new chains from Jeff Sikkema. His website is: www.snssawshop.com. He has some really good prices on sprockets and chains.

Kevin, I'll save the link you provided for futrue refference. Thanks.

Shannon. I have an old Homelite, 5-20, that needed a coil. I got one from Hawkins Brothers (an NOS coil). I talked to L. Sam Hawkins and he seems like a real great guy to talk to. They also have great service, had the coil in 3 days and the saw now runs great.

Thanks to all for your replies. I appreciate them. lonebear30.
