Hey since I'm new to the logging field for work I was wondering about insurance. I was wondering what companies offer a decent liability insurance plan. Im in maine. I hate having to call up different insurance companies and ask to get a quote because they never seem to be able to get all the info from me that they need at once. All I want is something that will cover me if i accidentally were to cut over a property line.

Suggest you look in the Forestry Forum Sponsor section for 'Forest Products Industry: Insurance Companies'. You can find the Sponsor Section on the left hand side of most pages. There are several companies listed there.

Welcome aboard FB 96.

There are lots of 'jewels' on the FF. Just have to look around a bit.

I don't believe any of our companies listed have coverage in Maine, but I am sure with a call to anyone of them with the info that you are a Forestry Forum member, they will help your find someone that does.
