Title: Barn in need of Inspection near Merrill WI
Post by: Stumplifter on June 14, 2015, 04:38:48 PM
Hi - new member, hope this is being posted in the correct area.

We have a bid in on a property near Merrill and the foundation of the barn looks darn right scary.  Both 'long side' walls have horizontal crack and are bowed in.

Anyone know of a reputable barn inspector/ restorer in the Merrill/ Tomahawk area?

TIA

Just a follow up - we visited a friends dairy goat farm and they strongly recommended these guys:

I have been in contact with them previously and I believe we will use their services.

We have a home inspector  who also does barns that will look at it next Tuesday and most likely follow up with Bender after his assessment (we don't have high expectations for the home inspector as I ass-u-me his skills are more focused on homes instead of barns and he will do the rote check of electrical and basic systems).
