Title: Help 358 336 330 craftsman
Post by: basspapaw on March 04, 2016, 01:15:21 PM
I have an old craftsman that looks like it had an impulse line ( it has a nipple with a clamp on it coming out of the crankcase ) almost in the same spot as a stihl  where does it go ? Any info would be great  This thing is driving me nuts . The diagrams I seen does not show anything, yet there it is.

It does have an impulse  line.  It hooks up to crankcase and nipple on top of carb.  It feeds through where the wires go into carb housing for on/off switch.  They rot off a lot.  I have 10 or so 2800-3750 most I've bought the line was missing rotten.  Hope this helps.  Will post size AM if you need can't remember exact size off top of my head.  Tygon doesn't last use black rubber hose.
