Title: Has the bottom fell out of the tie market?

Called koppers today said there weren't buying ties right now. Any one else being cut off? I'm gonna try to call stella jones tomorrow see if there buying.

i wouldnt say the bottom has fell out but it is definately tightening up :-\ :) koppers told us they werent  buying till the first of april :) but the others are tightening up on the grade and one cut the price $1 a tie starting this week :)

up here in wis alot of the sand mines have slowed way down hauling from pit to plant.one company layedoff over 60 workers.in a town up here there was six tra.ins per day ,now there is one .some are still shipping sand although nothing like they used to.
