Congratulations!
Yes, Well done!
Congratulations, your contributions and dedication to the profession are greatly appreciated.
The Forest Resources Association (FRA) has a National Outstanding Logger Award but you have to win your regional award first. I don't know what region you are in but have the Ohio Forestry Association put your name in the hat. I was a past runner up in the NE region years ago,and have nominated a past national winner. If you would like any info send me a PM. Good Luck and Congratulations again craig
thanks guys. much appreciated. I don't think I was worthy to be nominated let alone get the award but I really do appreciate it. I love loggin and meeting all (or most) of the people I deal with whether it be landowners, other loggers , log buyers , etc.. (and all B.S. aside autocar is a great friend and awesome guy all around even if he did spill the beans to you guys on here;))
Congratulation
Good for you! The best comes to the best.

Awesome my friend gd job big deal for sure happy for you
Congratulations, OH Logger.
What area do you cover? I grew up in NW Ohio.
I live in the lima/Findlay area and try to stay within 80 miles from home. been workin pretty steady around Dayton lately. that's about the limit as far as how far I like to roam from home. I guy who wants to log full time in the middle of this cornfield has to learn to drive to get to the trees :D

Grew up just north of Fostoria. The manufacturing plant where I used to work closed recently. It had been in operation on that site since 1905. The company has another facility in Wapakoneta that I get out to occasionally. Nice area, but like you said, a lot of cornfields to drive through to find some trees.
Congratulation on the award! You are modest and should be proud! 8)
Congratulations on the recognition! Nothing wrong with being noticed for being good at what you love to do, gives the younger crowd something to look up to. Hope you are able to enjoy many more good years in the woods 8)

The company in Fostoria was Seneca Wire. When they had a fire wiping out their heat treating department in the summer of 2004, they rebuilt in in Wapakoneta and named that plant Fenix, LLC.
Way to go, OH Logger!
thanks everyone
