Finally got around to building me a gun rack for my leaning wall. (A frame house). Its Maple, made two of em. This tree was a blow down I drug up and sawed a while back. Think maybe it was a red maple.

This one is temporary hung on a straight wall , looks a little crooked ::)

Very nice. And what makes it extra special is that you started with a log, made the boards and then the rack. That's meaningful. :)

Got a pic of the living tree... would be a nice touch to put a pic of the actual tree on the rack....
I saw a clock ( grandfather type ) that a fella did that with... he did a real nice job on the clock and the pic of the tree that supplied the lumber was different... probably raised the price of the clock :D
