How many tons is a usual semi load of hardwood pulp
15?
Around here: +- 16 for a big 10 Wheeler, +- 30 for a 10 Wheeler and a pup or a semi with a big trailer.
25 here
50 tons here...
I have a tri axle log truck (front loader) and 20 ton is a pretty decent load. I'd say the average is a little under 20.
Obviously the usual factors apply. If you had all laboratory straight 11 inch oak or something you could probably leave 20 tons far in the rearview mirror.
We can haul 98k here. Usually 5k per mixed hardwood cord. I've seen guys running 120k.
5 tiers on tractor trailer of 8' hw here in ny is 38-42 ton depending on how tight you pack it in and species.
30 ton here.
