Title: Stihl 025 Anti Vibration Mount Question
Post by: Robrike on August 15, 2016, 08:54:16 PM
Hi.
I just picked up a Stihl 025 yesterday and was going over it last night.  One of the anti vibration rubbers is missing on the right side near the muffler and brake handle area.  I can get another but was wondering if that one is a pressing fit or if it has a torx screw that should hold it in?  Right now it is just two openings that line up as seen in the photo.  Hoping a piece of housing isn't broken that screw would run in.

Thanks for any information.

Robert

No screw. It is press fitted on both sides with caps/plugs

If your missing a mount , you may want to replace them all and save the old ones for spares .

They are called Annular buffers and are three types. Two actually have a a screw. The one without screw just snaps in isnt in parts smart from stihl. But parts smart sucks so cant really depend on it. But for 6 bucks each ask a dealer, he might have call make sure still available.
