Title: slabbing sawmill

I've got some cypress to big for my wm does anyone in the alabama area have a portable slabing mill that does on site sawing I've got several logs 4 foot in diameter and 1 5 foot I need cut into 10/4 slabs

The closest that I know would be Frank Seaman in Old a Fort, NC.

I've got a few cypress logs to big for my mill too. One of the trees had a 58" DBH and had 4 1/2 - 16' logs.
My plan is to quarter the larger logs with a chainsaw and saw them.

Wow, that's some sweet cypress!  What are your plans for the lumber?

It's not really BIG unless you and your horse can pose for a photo inside the wedge... ;)
