Anyone ever built a husk out of steel? If so what size did you use, I beams or channel?
Here is a husk assembly for a Frick, all steel: http://www.fricksawmills.com/pdfs/00MANUALCOMPLETE.pdf Go to Figure 2. This is for a 0 or 00. Seems like 01 is the same.
Might want to think about converting the feedworks over to hydraulic to eliminate all the belts and make an easier conversion, if you can afford it.
