Title: Need a Little Prayer Please
Post by: POSTON WIDEHEAD on September 12, 2016, 08:57:01 PM
Y'all know member spd748 (Lee) who built the circle mill with his dad.

The other day his best friend was shot while serving a warrant.
Today Lee lost his best friend from the gunshot wound.
The shooter is still at large but I pray he will soon be caught.
Please keep this officers family and Lee in your prayers.

Rest in Peace officer Tim Brackeen. We salute you Sir.

I will be praying for his family and his coworkers.  I really worry about law enforcement officers these days.  They never know what frame of mind of the people they have to confront. It is sad.

David, thank you for mentioning this on the forum.  I am terribly sorry and saddened by Lee's loss of his friend.  Our society depends on LEO's to do their often thankless jobs.  I hope and pray that Lee and the family of his friend will find strength and comfort in this incredibly difficult time.

Sending prayers, I heard about this on the news and lived in Shelby for a few years, definitely hits home. Hopefully they will find the murderer and justice will be served...

This murderer should have been arrested on a simple warrant arrest on saturday.  The officer was alone with backup near by. Any officer making a warrant arrest knows. Sometimes there is justice . Sometimes there is just us .

Thank you all. Tim was more than a co-worker, more than a brother, more than a friend. In words, I can not express the loss my brothers and sisters feel. Tim was the greatest of us all. It was a privilege to command our Honor Guard for Tim's service. Godspeed my friend.
