I went to my JD dealer for a kit for my 450c it was 60 or 70 bucks, I'm only 6 miles from them,  probably bit so convenient for you. I know that doesn't answer questions, but what I'm getting at is, call the dealer and ask. I looked online, but didn't feel confident I'd be getting the right one and the price was good right down the road, why not scratch their back?
I recall you were overheating, are you still chasing it? I was too, decided to rebuild the pump as it had some play in it. Again I'm no help, as I was unable to install it and confirm that the problem was solved. May have just been the summer heat, this was a couple monthes ago.

They won't see if the rebuild kits are the same or they won't look for a kit period? Try calling a different dealer somewhere else. I really thought I could do mine without a press, no such luck. Which model do you have, b, c or straight?

well jd did it again took the water pump off     i had a rebuild kit for a 350C the water pump off the B is a lot different don't think it was original that being said the seal was smaller than the one in the kit but the shaft and impeller was the same so I had an old pump off a straight 350 and kit fit in that one  the pump I took off the B only had 8 bolts that held it on  the straight 350 and the 350 C have 9 the other hole in the B was covered by a gasket but the plate behind the pump is drilled and tapped for the 9th hole so think I'm good to go will find out tomorrow      thanks

If you tightens up the rad cap and you have overheating issues I would suspect you have a head gasket failure. Cat engines are bad for this slack the cap and way you go.

is funny if you tighten the cap it will run 220-280  but will not boil over ??? leave the cap loose 180-190  there is no antifreeze/water in the oil   even put in 2 different new tepm censers I have showed 4 people this and they are dumb founded
