Title: New to owning portable sawmill
Post by: f350rd on October 09, 2016, 09:24:42 PM
hello everyone, I am new to the forum. I just purchased new Ez Boardwalk 40 with 8' extension added v rollers to load on main deck for transport, lap siding shingle jig. I have added leveling jacks. 12volt carriage feed, with head up/down, wireless winch for loading ramps, toe jacks built with scissor jacks on movable bunks. The saw cuts very fast and accurate. have some large old growth pines and red oak to cut next weekend.

Sounds like a real nice mill. Don't use pine in a place where horses can chew on it.  Red oak, white oak, cottonwood and maybe elm work good for stalls and fences around horses.  Steve
