Title: A bad scare
Post by: sawguy21 on November 23, 2004, 05:55:42 AM
One of my customers came in yesterday with a welt on his throat. He had been cutting alone along a fence line when the chain grabbed the barb wire which then whipped around and clipped him under the chin. He was in for a new chain but was not sure he wanted to use the saw again. I started to shake just thinking about it.

Stories like this make me think about safety gear & how effective it is.  Glad to hear that your cutomer came thru without serious injury.

Yea, that barb wire can be a pain, I hate walking through the forest and then tripping over it sight unseen, hurts the shins. Better then getting it in the throat!
