I'll be having robotics surgery tomorrow for a hernia. It will be nice to get rid of the discomfort and limit to physical activities for a while. Doctor stays no more than 25lbs for first 2 weeks and limited activity for 2-3 months. I've prepared the mill and other equipment for this inactive period. That includes bandsaw mill, chainsaws, grass trimmers, edge trimmers, etc. Same doc I had in 2012 for a ruptured appendix. He did that surgery on Friday 13th. Received the blessing and anointing for sick yesterday while at church. Funny how that changed my attitude from apprehension to anticipation.
Merry Christmas!
P.S Surgery went just fine. Had to urinate to get out of the hospital and used coffee and holding my finger under running water to help. They had a lot of surgical cases and I didn't get out of there until 6Pm. Glad it's done.
