This was my first timber frame project and there were some mistakes, but it was fun to cut. I hope to get some more timber framing in the first of next year ;D

Is that cedar?
Eastern Red Cedar. It was hard to work with due to splitting and knots. It is one of the only rot resistant species I could get from the mill. There is limited white oak, post oak and locust but the mill didn't have any available.

Nice, the next time the DanG plow guys knocks mine clear off I`ll copy yours and use some black locust I have....should be the last one I put in
