Title: Husqvarna chainsaw oiler adjustment
Post by: Woodcutter_Mo on February 04, 2017, 02:05:27 PM
 Just a quick question about the oilers on Husqvarna's. I have a 455 rancher and a 372XP.
On my 455, it has always seemed a little stingy on the bar oil output, it works ok but but when cutting some types of wood it seems like it has a hard time keeping up. I have the oiler adjustment turned all the way open. The new 372XP seems to be the same way with it turned wide open as well.
Is that just a normal Husqvarna thing? Seems my Stihls can be adjusted to the point where they dump a little too much oil. Just curious if that's just normal or not with the Huskys, thanks

If I remember correctly a 372 oiler adjustment screw turns out 4 full turns (anti-clockwise) for maximum oil output.
The Stihl adjustment screw turns in 1/4 turn (clockwise) for maximum oil output
