Two old fellows decided that while their wives went shopping they would spend the day sailing. They left port under calm skies and had a great day. Evening came and they started to make their way back to shore. A sudden squal came up, and they had a difficult time controlling their tiny boat. Land came into view, and as luck would have it they grounded out on a sandbar. Both the gents jumped overboard and began pushing, battling against knee deep mud and ferocious winds that slammed them into the boat hull.
As the two stood in the freezing water, one turned to the other with a knowing smile and said, "This sure beats Christmas shopping, eh?"
He's right. It would beat Christmas shopping, but not by very much, I'm afraid. :D ::)
