Title: Central Oregon Community College
Post by: Chris Travels on May 09, 2017, 04:37:56 PM
Thank you for checking my post!

Thus far, COCC in Bend, Oregon is my number one option for my associates in forestry. Has anyone on this forum received their education there? Any insights or suggestions for me? Also, second on my list, is Front Range College in Fort Collins, CO. Same inquiries mentioned before for FRC. I plan to spend a year in the state so I can receive in state tuition before starting school so insights on what it was like living in the colleges city would be helpful as well. Thanks again for checking my post.

Didn't attend either school but I believe Oregon State Univ. is involved somehow with the forestry at COCC. I will say that Bend is a rather spendy town due to retirement influx. There is a rental shortage there for sure, driving up rates. But if you like to ski they have Mt. Bachelor just outside town.
