Hello! I'm hoping someone might be able to help me identify a fungus (pictured in attached document). It was spotted in Dutchess County, NY on May 15th in a mixed deciduous/evergreen forest. It is primarily white with a rust-red base and looks somewhat like melted wax. Any leads would be much appreciated! Thank you!
