Title: Chainsaws
Post by: Karpen86 on May 23, 2017, 09:55:53 AM
Looking to get a bigger saw than my 025. Just Wondering if I should go towards a ms390 or a 029super? Both saws are very clean and lightly used . What do you guys think?

Pine, oak, maple, box elder , pretty everything. All sizes . Usually cut firewood in the fall and deer trails and in the spring as well. And a handful of times during the summer

If you are wanting the possibility of running a 25" bar sometimes, get a ms390/ms362....if you can eat bybwith a 20", get a ms290/ms261....

And ... if you don't like throwing $$ around, you might want to look at Dolmar 6100 and/or Echo 590. Much better buys, IMO, in terms of bang/$ & quality. That Dolmar will make a 290 or 390 look like the brake's dragging. Too bad they're not badged as "Wood Boss" or "Farm Boss" or such stuff. They just do it.

Good not to fall for marketeering.  :new_year:
