Hello all,
I have a Husqvarna 51 with an 18" bar on it (72 DL, .325" pitch, .050" gauge). I am wanting to get a 16" bar to put on it. My question to you all is how do I know how many drive links I will need when I order a new 16" bar?
.325 x 16" should be 66DL
When you order a new bar, chain specs should be listed. And most new bars have the specs on bar. Something like .325 .050 66DL near the bar stud slot.

Yes I know this, but my question was how do I know how many drive links I need when switching to a different size bar. Currently have an 18" bar and want to go down to a 16" bar.
You read the ad for the bar for sale.
