My heartfelt condolences to you for your loss. You keep those 41 years in mind -- because those years have taught you that even the bad times are precious after you get through them.

My wife and I are coming up on our 44th. She says I can't go first because she'd be lost about so many things, but I know she's tougher than I am. I can't deal with the stuff she does. I'd be willing to bet that your Joe felt similarly -- that if you had to go first, he'd be right behind, but that since he preceeded you, he'd want and expect you to go on with a happy life for many more years.

Kim,

Thanks for sharing and please accept my heartfelt sympathy. We just celebrated 40 years of marriage the 2nd of this month and I know I would be lost without her.

Please keep in touch with us here and if there is ever anything we can do be sure to reach out to us. My very best to you and the rest of the family.
