Hi Y'all,
I posted a while back about trying to find some parts for a 268XP; it needed a working chain brake. After trying a few on eBay, and sending them both back as inoperable, I finally broke down and spent the money and got a whole new brake assembly.
I assembled it today, put on the new 24" bar and chain, and fired it up. I made a few cuts in some pine logs I had stacked up, this thing cut through them like butter! I then moved on to a small oak tree that's been down for a while, same results. I can't wait to get hold of some more of the 26"-30" diameter pecans and oaks I was cutting earlier this year with my 359.
The 359 is not a bad saw, but there's a heck of a difference between the two. I've got about $200 tied up in the 268, and I hope it lasts me a while.
Well, just had to share the news, and I wish everyone the best for the coming New Year.

Nothing like displacement to solve cutting problems! The difference between 59 & 68 cc!
