Sounds like the guy stopped and started back, but when cars started hitting the mill, he took off.
That is very sad that the guy left. >:(
Will be even sadder for him if the saw has a serial number that they can trace back to him.
I couldnt help but think he might have been on the way home from a hickory and pecan job with occasional nail strikes and then this happens. Who could hold it against him ? :D Maybe he was rushing home to report it stolen, probably lots cheaper that way.
Maybe the saw was stolen. That's why he ran. Gary
I think either the saw was stolen or the guy driving didn't have insurance. From what I hear theres alot of ppl without vehicle insurance out west and so there is alot of hit and runs.

Back east the hit is from a baseball bat and then they run to dump ya in da east river so you can sleep with the fishes lol
