Title: meteor
Post by: tree-farmer on January 17, 2018, 09:24:02 AM
Anybody see the light show or hear the boom? News said it was going about 40,000 mph. Should have been a serious sonic boom. Hit up in Michigan .

I wonder if anyone looks from the air for downed meteors after a known occurance. All that white frozen ground with a hot black rock landing should provide a good hunting ground.

So many rocks left from last ice age it would be like looking for a needle in a pile of needles.

Was blowing snow in front of the house, saw a huge flash of intense light very high in the sky.

With all the snow it really lit everything up.
