Having the worst flooding and ice jams in many decades. This pier is framed with 10/4 x 8 locust milled off the property. The frozen river came up and over, the ice broke up underneath as the water went over, it then froze on top, broke up again as the water went back down. The pier held with no damage other than some scarring. Now to see if the pilings hold when the jam starts moving, hoping for a gradual melting.(https://forestryforum.com/gallery/albums/userpics/18098/dock_ice_1.jpg?easyrotate_cache=1516316360)(https://forestryforum.com/gallery/albums/userpics/18098/dock_ice_2.jpg?easyrotate_cache=1516316547)
