Thought some folks might like to see this.
I have a complete 24 volt Bosh kit and love it other than it is a bit heavy. If the 28 volt only weighs that of an 18 volt then they are going to make a fortune on this one.

I dunno what you'd want one for. ??? The old 14.4v B&D Firestorm drill I have would wring my arm off at the shoulder if I didn't know how to let go. :o ::) 8)
My 18v has the power I need for most things, just would love a little better battery life.
Got to use a batt. operated impact, a couple weeks ago. The guy that owned uses it to drive screws and stuff like that. It really did away with the twisting of the drill.
Drag an extention cord to the farthest corner under your house, in your attic, or on your roof and you will understand. ;D
Seriously, having power for big bits away from plug-ins is verrrry nice... My 24v dewalt drill has an extra handle to hang onto so it doesn't get away. Wish the circular saw had more power longer though.
This is a nice option for drillingbig holes http://www.stihlusa.com/augersdrills/BT45_drill.html
I remember when the 9.6 volt Makita was really high tech. The way they keep goin, with higher voltages, pretty soon we'll be right back to 110, and consumerland will celebrate the genius of it all... :)
I bought the 18v dewalt pack a couple of years ago 1/2 hammer/driver drill, sawzall, circular saw and flashlight.
The cost was high but I use it all the time and it came with a cupon for a free radio/charger. Cool! It would be nice if the batteries lasted longer but I'm not gonna upgrade... atleast not this month...
