Red and White Oak
« on: December 19, 2005, 07:00:12 AM »
Greetings All,

We log and saw lumber in Southwestern Ontario.  We are looking for reputable sources for clean Red and White Oak logs in the US that can ship to Ontario.  As leads or ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Steve

To whom it may concern:

We have 4 trees that are oak, but my husband doesn't know if it is red or white.. it is oak though.  They are aprox 40 feet tall and 2 1/2 feet across.  We are looking to sell, and will take them down when we have specs of how you need them.  We have farm equipment that will take them out nicely.  We reside in Kingsville Ontario.  Email for contact and we can discuss the particulars.  Thankyou.

I felled some red oak in Batchewana just north of the Sault last Fall and the guy still has a few saw logs if you're interested.
I'm going after a white oak this spring in the same area.
