Spam blocker sees your IP as a spammer. Had that happen to a Moderator on my site.  My site gives you a hyper link to follow to show your not a bot spammer if it blocks you, easy peasy.

Well maybe but as I understand it the IP addy changes frequently on a cable connection .So if that be the case I'd think it would be a tracking cookie .

Now could that be a third party cookie ?Seems odd to me you have to go to face book to get it .

Steve,
Did you get straightened out with AS?  If you want me to contact them on your behalf just let me know.

Generally the IP can be unblocked unless you have the same provider as a known hacker. I had the issue long ago. The hacker and his "buddies" all went through a company IP that Boeing aviation people owned. The first couple of sections are always the same if it is a class "B" license, first three if it is a class "C" license. Class "A" licenses have only the first three numbers the same but with only about 250 of them in the world they are long gone. The new endings add a few more but to block an IP usually requires that you put a line like this in the blocked addresses list: 214.163.(three question marks).(three question marks) Question marks were the single character wild card.

That would block everyone whose IP had the class "B" license that had the address 214.163.xxx.xxx  . With a really nasty hacker sometimes you have to swing a wide loop and block a lot of people to solve a problem then narrow down the blocking to affect a minimum number of users. With the morons using a Boeing company computer contacting Boeing would cook their goose and put their jobs in jeopardy. Been over a decade but seems like they didn't get the hint when I told the hackers I knew it was a Boeing owned address and I did contact their IT department.

All from very old memory. Once I was a highly trained network specialist. Almost twenty years later I'm doing good if I can get this thing to turn on and let me on the net.
