Intro

     Found FF about a month ago and finally joined.  I have done woodworking as a hobby for a number of  years.   First saw adds for wood-mizer in the late 80's, but was in the Army and hauling a saw from base to base didn't seem feasible.   Fast forward 25 years and it looks like it might happen. 

     We are currently on the north side of Tucson (hello Mesquite Buckeye) but will be moving east at the end of the year.    Will be heading out on a trip in a couple weeks to get out of the Tucson heat for the summer.  The only thing set in stone is Groton Connecticut to visit our daughter and new (11 months old by then granddaughter) over 4th of July.   Rest of the trip is play it by ear with stops in Fort Worth, Cookville TN, and Littleton NC before Connecticut.   We will be making detours to stop at Cook's sawmills in Alabama and Nyle kilns in Maine along the way as well.

     So far no sawmill, no chainsaw, no kiln, no forklift, no logs, no logrite, and absolutely no grits.

Backwoods Sawyer  -  No log dog.  Don't know if you need a bigger dog or a smaller stick or if I need to expand my skidder options.

your gonna need.

Shoot the log dog is three feet tall when bristling up under the belly of a pitt bull you just need a bigger skidder.
