Does anyone know if there are cams for the WM grinder for Munk's blades?

I've always used woodmizer's cam for 7/8 ths blades, same as woodmizer.  Never had a problem.  I have used the same cam for Suffolk blades as well.  If you are using the same pitch blades there should be little difference.  The gullet depth is the same and they are standard 10 degree.  So why do I hear the recurring question about cam for Monks blades?  I also use the same cam for the Simmons blades.

Being as you are in CNY same as me you might want to look at www.u-cut.com.  They are located at B&B Sawmill in Jamesville just south of Syracuse.  They sell lennox and sharpen whatever I send them.

I just got some back from 21 Saw Shop yesturday from being sharpened, noticed on several of the blades that some of the tips were never even touched with a sharpener still had pitch on them.  Dont think I will be using them anytime soon.

I have had great blade sharpening service from Cook's Saw out of Alabama.  Good guys down there.   ;D

As I told you some weeks ago I get some new blades from MunkforsSågar (where else?  ;D ) 1-3/8x.035, P1", 10*. Used the first one last Friday and it works very fine in softwood. Have to find a good and cheap grinder too. Get some tip-offs from you but ewerything seems to be more expensive in Europe.

cut2size; Suffolk blades = Monkey blades.  ;)

All the new hydraulics also works fine and fast but I have to cut off 50% of the teeths on the rotation arm and resharp the other, it slips too easy on wet logs. I also had some problems to find the right levels  :D Soon I can saw double up in a day, especially sawing small logs I already save a lot of time.

Have not been here so much for a time, have a bad back and my left leg hurts.  Sitting on a chair for more than an hour is a pine but rolling logs, runing around a sawmill and piling boards is no problem! Don´t know why  ::)

Yes I´ve taken pictures but still using my old Cannon-camera. Takes some time to get them pictures in here.

Swede.
