Making Cheese from Moose Milk

Farmers in northern Sweden are milking moose, hoping that cheese-lovers with deep pockets will develop a taste for moose cheese.

It's healthy and tasty - and very expensive (nearly $500 per pound) because moose milk is hard to obtain.

Don´t know if I told you this story..........

There was some mooses on the field outside my workshop, went out, hide behind a continer and started to sound like a he-moose. A young she-moose lifted her head and listened, started to move in my direction. Some steps every time she heard that sound.
When there was just a small conainer + 10´or so between us I had to tell her I am a human. She wasn´t intrested anymore but turned around and run into the woods.

I don't think I would like milking mooses. I remember when I was a kid and had to go out and milk the cow at 4:30 in the morning before going to school and it would be cold and I would be about half a sleep it was nice to cuddle up to the warm side of ole bessy whhile sittin down. I'll bet an ole moose won't give you 5 gallons of milk at one setting like ole jersey.

I read somewhere that butter and cheese were first accidentally manufactured by the Mongols (or maybe the Cossacks, I forget).  Seems the HORSE milk in their goatskin bags soured (cheese) or separated (butter) as they rode across the steppes. Naturally someone had to tast the results.  " Attilla, come over here and taste this for me.  I think my milk's done gone bad!!"
