Blades / Profiling

Once again I'm seeking info
Lets say I'm sending blades out to be sharpened and set. And lets say that I have a mix and match of brands from several suppliers, some OEM and other generic. So I ask, how would the guy doing the sharpening of them do it?
Are there different profiles that he would follow for the different blades or would they all be ground to what ever if his flavor of the day. ????

I try to keep mine separated by brand, angle, and pitch. The place I get mine done is pretty alert and if by chance I get a odd blade in the batch they will reset the machine to grind it correctly.

   I have 4 different profiles of blades (10,7, 7 turbo and 4 degree) all from WM. I keep them separate before use but send them back to WM for resharp. They read the serial # and file according and send them back with a nice wire and paper tag on them indicating set and whether new or resharp. I use the auto replace and auto fill to get a full box back with new ones to replace any missing or damaged beyond resharpening.

I would ask the guy doing it, before sending.  If it is WM Resharp says they only sharpen WM Blades.

I would expect that WM would sort them by their profile and sharpen them each that way.  And send back any that aren't theirs.

It is probably not a trivial matter for most to resharpen a blade to a different profile.  Not at least in the eyes of whoever you're paying $10 or less a piece to do them.
