How to change speed on a Rockwell 46-111 lathe?

I have recently acquired a Rockwell 46-111 lathe, but need to slow it down and do not know how to adjust the speed.  It was sold thru a 2nd party for someone who inherited it, so there is no information there.  Please describe how to change the speed.
