Hi,

Just wondering If anyone has ran flexible lines all the way from the winch on their skidder to the winch control, if so how did it work? I am thinking about doing this on my C4 with a model 9

Thanks for the help

if you use hydro line its fine that's what I use on the 119- 19 winch

Coxy are you saying you are using brake fluid through a hydraulic hose . If so I would think the brake fluid will eat the rubber inside the hose and clog the line . Just my thought no proof .

I have used 1/4 inch hyd lines on lots of them never had any trouble with them and never seen any difference in how it works

I run hydraulic lines too, no problem.

You want something tough, steel braids are nice, sometimes they drop down and can rub on the pto driveshaft, or get pinched a bit.

Thanks for the help.  All of it sounds better then bending new lines.

All the TJ skidders with this winch, brake fluid or hydraulic oil use hydraulic lines for oil transfer to winch. I think mine are still original, or ancient anyways.
