I'm pretty sure I destroyed all of them old long haired pictures before the grandkids could see them ;) but I have to admit I was one GOOD LOOKING guy, with blonde hair down to my a$$. How good looking you ask ??? well let me tell you a store, back in the early 70s I had some friends that had a band, they would play all of the local bars in a four county area, well they were playing in my back yard and I wanted to go see them only problem was I wasn't old enough to get in so I had my mom bring me. there we were my mom, my older sister and myself sitting there listening to the band when the bar maid brought over a round of drinks from three airmen sitting four or five tables away from us.
One of them finally got up the courage to come over and WHO does he ask to dance, ME :o I told him no thanks but my sister might like to ;D mom laughed out loud and I got one of those looks from my sister :D

Robert my hair was about the length in your picture before I got it cut. When I went to the hairstylist he tried to talk me out of getting it cut so short. :D

I have an old school ID from those days when my hair was so long, one of my sons found it and was shocked. Maybe when I'm in my 80's I'll tell him some stories from those days......well maybe not. ;)

SwampDonkey

Well I broke down Buzz, just so I can fit in here with the club. This is me and my dog Flash, near my 17th birthday. You guys can judge whose better lookin. :D :D

This is as long as my swamp donkey mane ever got and it went down hill from there. I get more hair on my kneck than is left on my baldy head. :D :D

The dog is wondering what that camera thing is for. :D

Really makes a guy think of how he made it this far. I was a beer drinker back then, alot of the guys I went to school with are'nt here anymore. Most of them OD on sum kind of heavy drug. I guess that doesnt really matter what we did, many times I didnt remember how me and the chopper Trident made it home.

EZ, my preferred ride for many years was a 1975 Triumph T160 Trident.  I know what you mean about loosing friends.  I lost too many to motorcycle accidents.  Not due to drugs or alcohol, some due to inattentive car drivers, some due to their own recklessness.  :-[

Norm, by 'stylists', who just happened to be a fellow biker, tied my braid off and snipped it with some large shears.  My wife wanted to be sure we saved it.  I think she thinks some day she may need to glue it back on! :D

Heya Onewith
I loved them TRidents..They were fast for their time. I had a Kawasaki 500 mach 3  that was fast as well and them tridents were the ones I had to watch out for. One fella in Smithers  with a Trident where I played in the band every weekend would challenge me to a dragrace on an old desolite piece of highway. Who ever was sharper would win. I liked his bike more than mine. It was a 72 I think and Looked just like a Bonneville cept for that beautiful engine.

GOLDEN RULE : The guy with the gold, makes the rules.

I had a 67 Trident, best riding bike I ever had, except it was a bear to start. After I sold it, I went in with the rice burners. Them 750 hondo's was the king of the road, once they where bored 60 over. ;D 130 mph was my thing back then. I still like to ride but 50 mph is pretty fast, now a days.

Buzz,
Jesus is my why of life. Without him I have a pretty good idea where I would be right now.

Doc

I have no old pics, but I will get one of me now (in a couple of weeks when I am in my more natural bald state). I was an 80's kid, and had the hair. I miss my hair, but I love more than anything being clean shaven bald. Nothing to have to fool with in the morning.

For those of you who remember the Triumphs, I still own a few and a couple of BSA's too. I love the old British iron even if Lucas still can't make a decent electrical part......lol.....prince of darkness......lol....the door closes and the lights go out......hahhahahahaha.....

i shaved my head once, put a hat on, and proceed to bale hay all day. bad move, the sun burnt a patch in my head above the size strap in the back. :D

Doc, watcha got?  I used to have a British Bike shop and I had many different bikes.  Triumphs, Nortons, BSAs.  I sold the shop and all the bikes except my wife's '66 T120SR Tiger (650).

Well Oww, I have a 66 Bonnie (in pieces), a 73 Bonnie 5speed (again in pieces), a 75 Bonnie that is about half way to bobberhood complete with 21"apehangersand a 6" over hardtail (I love a hardtail), a BSA Tbolt (in pieces), and a BSA lightening (mostly parts).

I pick these things up as bits and sit on them till I have enough stuff to complete one, and finish one....ride it for a while....and sell it. I gotta get one goign pretty quick. With gas over 2 bucks a gallon I would kinda like to tweak a pair of amals to 65 mpg.

I miss racing too, but my nerves and reactions aren't what they used to be. Never had a problem, and am not going back out to find out whne I am going to eat tarmac.......yuck....ouch!
