Built this ERC table for a customer . The slab had some rot in places , I ended up mixing the sanding dust

 with West systems epoxy to fill the voids .

I used Zinser sanding sealer first then put 3 coats of Deft Poly , the deft poly has UV blockers in it hope it helps the red color to stay .

The uv blockers will maintain the color pretty well.
