Afternoon
I am hoping that someone can help me decipher a couple of serial numbers on 2 machines I have acquired
6414TT 01 is type number 362268 is serial
product identification number dw640dc512619
cable skidder
these are from the tags on one machine.
I am looking for the year of this machine specifically
Thank you in advance for any info

That would be off the engine tag. 6 cylinder. 414 is the engine displacement. The machine serial number might be on the inside of the front frame on the left side by the top center pin. A dealer could tell you the year made; maybe find that on tractordata.com . Year made really only matters to banks and lenders. Parts lookup relies on the serial number. Go to Deere.com and follow the links and you can look up parts yourself. The site doesn't print out as well as it used to, but it will give you a guide to tell a dealer what you are looking for they have better info on before and after S/N and part updates.

Thanks for the awesome info Oliver  ;D ;D ;D I was curious as to how old they were as I ran into 2 machines for a smokin deal at 2000 for the both. Granted the engine is very stiff from water entering through the exaust. However will give me something to rebuild and an excuse to buy more tools lmao.
