Help Please! I'm trying to find out the year of my Husky 181SE

 :P  Hi guys, I'm new to this forum stuff but Google is not doing me any good  :embarassed: -- I bought a Husqvarna 181SE for my husband (years ago :D) am trying to find out more info on it. The model/sn tag is silver and sn is 5244824 - I read elsewhere that the color of the tag means something and the color of the body does but looking at the pictures on here what I read is Bull..... Anybody have a clue? I'd like to at least know what year it is as we need a couple of parts for it (minor but necessary ones-- this beauty's a BEAST!  ;D). Thanks for any info!

Your saw shop can get parts with the model and serial number.

I've got a 281 and never had a problem finding parts .FWIW Husqvarna dealers are not under the same franchise agreements as Stihl dealers as they can ship parts .--Google will find one .

Made in 1985, week 24 is my uneducated guess, if holmentree or sawtroll will chime in they will know for sure.
