   Its hard to believe but today makes 43 years we have been married. One son, one daughter, 4 gds and one gs to spoil train. Together we have been to 5 continents and worked and vacationed in some of the most remote and unique parts of the world with photos and over 900 pages of journal entries of people and places we visited). Been charged by a silverback gorilla and 100 lb baby bull elephants (and one real big adult on Kruger Game Park in South Africa who threw mud on our car when he realized we were faster than him). Survived and escaped a coups in Africa in 2008 and scuba dived and photographed strange critters in the Red Sea (Ever been shocked by an electric ray electricuted-smiley. I can advise against it.)

  Anyway, I know we share this anniversary with several other members so congrats to you too.

   Since my florist jumbled the dates and delivered Becky's flowers a week early we can leave any time for our traditional Chinese meal at the only dine in joint I have found in a 40 mile radius of us.

  Take care and stay safe.

Ooops - wrong thread. Maybe a kind and considerate Admin will move this to the General Board where I meant to post it. As they say in Japan - Goh minh assigh (Or something to that effect) "Sorry about that".

@barbender & @doc henderson ,

   Yeah its been a real hoot so far. My wife is a free lance photographer so she has really enjoyed the experience. In between everything else we hosted 7 different foreign exchange students and we have been over to see them all sometimes multiple times. Becky was an area rep for several others too.

WV, congrats to you and your bride. We celebrate 44 today, with a mask on! (if we were going out!)  Instead it's ribeye on the grill tonight. Could be worse :D.

   Yeah, I spotted that last week. Congrats. The steak sounds good but by convincing Becky to have Chinese as an anniversary tradition look at all the money I've saved over the last 43 years. :D

Congratulations for being married 43 years!  And on top of that, to the same woman!

Did you find a Chinese place for the dinner?

WV Sawmiller

   Yes but it was nearly 40 miles each way.

Just had our 20th this past month.
We actually got a pizza went and sat by the water watching boats come and go.
Think we both enjoyed that way more than sitting in some stuffy fancy restaurant with covid 19 mask on.

Congrats on The Richard Petty #43 anversery
