Does anyone make BBQ Cooking woods for a charcoal or wood BBQ or smokers?

I do. I make Apple, Cherry, Hickory, Oak, Pear, Pecan (not so much of the pear and pecan). We make firewood bags and wood chunks. Those types of wood are the primary ones we get from our tree service operations.

I salvage smoke wood for my Green Eggs from my TSI work, cherry, hickory and oak.  I also use the  oak and hickory wood in my stick burner Karubecue smoker.  If I want the other species of smoking wood I have to order it in, they are not in my woodlot.

As I saw lumber I set slabs and cull lumber aside from hickory, white oak, cherry and pecan.  Occasionally, I run across a bit of apple or peach on portable jobs.  I sometimes am able to negotiate a bit of it from my customer.  When a customer wants bbq or smoker wood I have a stack available.

Strange things can happen.  I once made a comment on a similar topic about not having any Apple wood for smoking.  Later I opened a strange box from Kansas that was chocked full of Apple wood.   :)  Da Apple wood Fairy!!!   ;D
