I have the Chipmunks eradicated around the house here, now it's all-out war against Robins!

They want to nest in the back bay of my garage, and there isn't a door, so I put bird screen across, from the top down to about 3 feet and they still come in.

I've been using my leaf blower to get rid of their nests every day, sometimes twice a day, the 410 is next, I've had enough!

Chuck,

  Apparently they are not bad eating. My old mentor ate every one he could get his hands on. I got into a bunch feeding on holly tree and had a .22 and he ate pretty good that night. He'd try to get 2-3 lined up to justify using a 20 gauge shotgun shell.

Once a game warden happened on a young boy who was roasting a cardinal over a fire.  This is the state bird and the game warden felt obligated to punish the kid.  As he handed the boy his ticket he couldn't help but ask him what cardinal tasted like.  The kid thought a moment then replied "kinda like bald eagle".
There might be a little dust on the butt log, but don't let if fool ya bout what's inside

If I were in a pinch for a fuel tank, I'd grab a portable tank for an outboard (I don't know if they are widely available in your part of the world but they are in mine) and whatever fuel fitting matched it.  I've run mostly OMC so I have several spares.  I liked the old Mercury fuel fittings with the twist lock but the wiring on those black motors from the 70's and before was terrible.

When using JB weld to patch holes in aluminum boats, I've used fiberglass window screen to give it some shape and something to bond to.  I don't know if this will work with your tank or not.  Hopefully the epoxy you have on hand will do the trick.

Honestly you can't tell the difference between Bald Eagle and Spotted Owl, both are gamier than chicken for sure.

Iiving in the land of 20 lakes within twenty minutes has it's benefits when yards sales start popping up.  She took 12. :)
