It's going to take a bit of time before it gets cozy in the kiln this time. :)  Controller reading in ºF. It's currently -7ºC outdoors.

I did not think that you were supposed to let the control unit freeze.

The controller itself doesn't freeze. It's in an insulated box with a temp controlled light bulb. Those temps are for the probed pieces of wood that came in from the cold outdoors.

14 hrs later (this morning) the readings are now this. Elec consumption during this time was 88 kWhr.
