Hello,
I am new on this forum and I was hoping I might get some help with the Nyle L200

My question is when you turn on the controller should the fan on the top of the compressor unit start up immediately? If so does this mean the compressor is on too? The temp in the kiln is only 40F.
The other issue is on startup it shows the humidifier ON, we don't have the humidifier.

Thank you

K-Guy

Welcome

When you start the unit the fan will start but the heat and compressor only come on when parameters are satisfied.

K Guy,

Thank you very much.. The controller shows the heat on but not the compressor which makes sense ( the temp in the kiln is about 35F.)

I am still wondering why the Humindification is on?

Our controller shows - 0 - 0 on startup?

Is not really "on".  That just means that if you had it, conditions are such that it would be on.

The way the system works is that the DB(dry bulb) won't let the compressor turn on till it is above 80°F, then it turns control over to the WB(wet bulb) and the WB won't let it start till the WB actual temp is 2° over the setpoint. The WB also controls the humidification, it will be on as long as the WB actual is more than 2° below the setpoint.
