Some of my videos are with just text captions. None of my videos are for teaching anything, they are just showing how I'm doing it. And we know there is usually more than one approach to things. I'm not getting a pay cheque for it so don't expect any revelations. :)

Nathan knows how much I dislike the Spandex saw millers, we talk about it routinely, it's almost impossible to compete against clickbait, but when the guy or gal running the machine poses as a knowledgeable person but can't figure out which end the cant hook to hold, well, I suppose everyone comes to the same conclusion.

I can understand showing off a muscle car or cool boat, but clickbaiting a significant other is a scum move.

For what it's worth, I use Final Cut Pro, on a Mac, and it will do anything, except make me look intelligent.  Shooting the video is about 1/3rd filming, another third editing and another third is asking myself why I do it and does anybody watch or care while I have to catch up for the time I lost filming.

Take steps to save steps.

If it won't roll, its not a log; it's still a tree.  Sawmills cut logs, not trees.

Sawing is fun for the first couple million boards.

Kind of where I have been since I came home from the u.p. I got cedar, and other than some phone shots for fun, Id rather spend my extra time bonding with my pup. Until you do it, and I did it over 200 times last year, you don't realize how much time and effort it takes away from other things.  I saw the writing on the wall where sponsors were heading awhile back, but it has been just too little too late from me to try and bring them to a youtube channel. I still like to share, that is why the forum exists, so ill still make videos now and again for the folks that like what I like.
I can change my profile okay. No errors. If you can,t remove all the extra info in other fields and try.
