Hello everyone, I'm Jeremy, Jeff's son. I wanted to welcome everyone back and help make sure everyone is finding their way around the forum and it's new functions! If anyone is having a hard time posting or running into any kind of errors or issues, give this a go. Delete your internet cache and cookies, and then log back in. This will assure everything is squeaky clean and that you are on a new fresh session, and should rid you of any issues. We hope you all like the new look, feel, and functionality.

Have a great night!

Did you do as instructed? You seemed to have posted twice now. Patience please, we are trying our best. Reporting this topic to moderators isn't helpful.
I can change my profile okay. No errors. If you can,t remove all the extra info in other fields and try.

Everything looks pretty good. Any new features that aren't readily apparent?

Hi Jeremy * Jeff. Thanks for your many many hours of work bringing us back together. That was pretty huge. I am still poking around and figuring out the new format. One thing I can't figure is how to add a photo to a post and also how to even look at my gallery. I know the gallery is a how issue unto itself and has likely taken a little bit of the back burner while the main stuff is squared away. I know the gallery is there and all the photos are there and that was no small feat. It had to be a big and entire separate project on it's own.
Again, I dearly appreciate the work and know that there will be dozens of things that we all just have to learn to understand and figure out. The main thing is we are back together and can talk again, and that is pretty huge in my book! Now if I could just get rid of that facial tick I picked up in the last few days.... :)

if you choose the reply option instead of quick reply, there is a button at the bottom to click or drag files onto it to attach them from your computer/phone. currently to post a gallery picture you need to go to the gallery and get the picture address, click the insert an image icon, and paste the address. we are working on a much easier option for this function that we hope will be up soon because i almost confused myself explaining that.

I'm getting it Jeremy from some other posts. I should not have even brought this up, my bad, you guys have enough to do. Don't worry about this. I understand how to get photos in now and I KNOW there will be some changes coming up in the coming weeks to help with these routine things. I am patient. I was just frustrated with myself that I could not figure out how to find my own gallery. Don't waste any more time on this question. You guys stay the course and work on the stuff you need to work on.

Wouldn't it work getting the gallery image address then giving it img tags?

I did as instructed. I get a message saying data error report to moderator. If this goes through. Ill give it time. I use my phone. Maybe thats it. I have to try many times to get what has gone through.

Yup, exactly. We need to make it easier to get the address. Some people won't figure it out. You can also use the embed feature now, but be aware doing that, that there is no place to go see them other than in the post.

I really like the embed image feature. A lot of times I didn't post a pic cause it was a bit of a hassle. I understand why you do it, and I agree with your reasons, but directly embedding makes it fast and easy.

Then go for it now!  :)

Here Jeff. A Swedish candle for your work. This one is apropos cause it was real job to get going due to being wet. Just a single match, but it required a lot of care and attention to set and stay lit. I still have to work on a routine getting quotes inside the reply box, but that'll be easy enough. Also, sorry everyone for the image size. I inserted it as is, and it's 5.2mb. Might be a bit much for some connections.

edit:
BTW, I first tried to insert the image from my phone running firefox on android, and it failed when I hit the [Submit] button. It kicked over to another screen, with a message to 'contact the administrator' or something like that. I probably should have copied all the text. Might have been 'just one of those things', or a peculiarity with the way I have my phone setup, but it might be something to keep an eye on. It all worked out, cause it got me to back my phone up to my computer. That isn't something I keep up on as much as I should.
