LeeB, have I got a deal for  you 8)

Actually, I get a prospectus from a real estate agent in Arkansas on a regular basis.  The next one in I will send your way.  Get on his list, and you will hear about enough Arkansas land to fulfill any dream.  Whole DanG state must be for sale.

Better contact Eric Estrada. He's hawking Arkansas like he owes a debt to the ''Mob'' ;) ;D :D :D

We actually went and looked at land there last week. Found a piece we really love, the only kicker to is that the agent is the son of the real estate guy of Whitewater fame and his reputation is right up there with his dad :o. LeeB

Haven't heard of them but I will check them out. Thanks for the info. I talked to Arky on the phone tonight and he gave me some good info. He lives in the same area. I wish I had known this when we went up last week. I will be going back in Feb. Will have to get in touch with him then. LeeB

I think your right FDH. Over here in the east, things are growing so fast it seems a new building or land swap sprouts up overnight...

Seems like with interest going up, some folks that were just barely making it in their new castles are going down in flames...  What I mean to say foreclosures are up too.   I expect it to continue...  Our real estate company bought 4 this year...  2 were from the bank...

ScottAr may be onto something there.  I know several people who have bought property lately that had been forclosed on.  Maybe LeeB should be checking with the banks and Finance co. in the areas they are interested in.  LeeB would you be interested in some hardwood bottoms for $1540/acre?  If anyone here buys it, I want the acre my camp is own. ::) ;) It's the Saline River tract ,and they will sell it in parts.  The last time I talked to them they wanted to sell at least six hunred at a time, but that may be just what somebody here wants.  I'd love to have all of it. ;) ::) ;)

Banks are perfect sellers....  They don't want property. They want money.
This makes them open to the haggle...   ;) :D
