The more I think about it the more i'm inclined to work a " deal" on the grapple, I look around the place and think about all the things I could pick up and move  ;D

I have a backhoe and post hole digger for the bobcat and I really want a concrete breaker, just cause, no other real reason :D

I'm with you lookin at the pics too
there are times when I will just go through the member galleries until I find a cool pic and then search for the thread that goes with it. hours have been spent like that .

dont worry about hijacking the thread, you keep posting cool pics and giving good info and you are more than welcome to chime in anytime you want.

Yessireebob. I want one too. Just so many other things higher on the list right now. One day though ..............
The oil is all in Texas, but the dipsticks are in D.C.

Kev--From what I've been reading lately, you should be able to just about swap some bo-doc out for a new skid.  ;D

Once again, I am learing lots of good stuff from my electronic buddies at the Forestry Forum.  What a great site this is!

I have been thinking about buying a grapple to go on the front of my Kioti DK65 tractor.  It has the Kioti loader with the universal skid steer mount, and I have a 4 in 1 bucket and a set of loader forks with a grapple.  Unfortunately, the loader forks don't really work out well for moving brush, etc, because there is too much space between the tines.

The Faver grapple really looks like a solid piece of equipment.  Thanks for the info.

Kevin, It's a terrible thing.  Yellow in color and too hard for you to mill.  Heavy as sin on your soul too.  It's best you send it to me if you have any.

Bois D' Arc, also known as Hedge.  The stuff Kirk Allen and Kevjay were trying to salvage.
I eat a high-fiber diet.  Lots of sawdust!

Kevin_H.

Nope sorry, dont have any of that  ;D

If'n ya cant make grade stakes from it I aint got it  :D

We have hedge around here but I think kirk might have been out feeding his miracle grow since ours are not nearly that big.

Mo-Ark,

QuoteWell, thanks for the compliment, but you got me started!

Oh Ya, It's all ElectricAl's fault ;D

Truth be known, I have a thing for skidsteer ATTACHMENTS :o
The more the merrier ;D

SCSmith42,

A grapple would be slick on your Kioti.  If you get a Grapple you'll have to post some action shots ;)

Kevin,

Our concrete guy has a big swing hammer for his skidsteer. It's pretty neat.

I was thinking about your backhoe. The mounts are different from the 743 to the S175.  Sounds like an episode of the Red Green show.

wiam

Al are you going to duck tape a back hoe to your skidsteer. ;) ;) ;)

Will

Kevin_H.

Well there might be some duct tape involved  ;D

right now it looks more like chain and heater hose, we will just leave it at that for awhile and let the imagination run...

hows that go

they should atleast find ya handy...

Al, actions shots will be coming in the near future (maybe not of the grapple, but of other items of interest).

I downloaded DanG's photo instructions the other day, and will try to get something posted this weekend (if it rains as forecasted!).

I helped a neighbor move a few stumps yesterday. City water was brought in two years ago, and the contractor that did this section of the job conveniently "forgot" to clean up the mess they'd made when they dozed the easement. My friend had to hire a lawyer and ended up with a check; they didn't even offer to come back out and do the "right thing". Anyways, images of skidsteers picking up oddball items is one of the topics we've touched on in this thread, so I thought these would fit right in.  smiley_grin

There's really nothing for a size reference here, but the distance from outside-edge to outside-edge on the grapples is 61". Two years later, and the stumps are gone. My friend's wife is a happy gal!

Kevin_H.

Ya see that is way cool, thanks for the pics

By the way that looks like a nice wack of logs in the back ground...
